Description
Atharva comes from the Veda Atharvaveda.Atharva is Sanskrit name for Lord ganesha, the Supreme of all deities.
In the framework of Ganapatya devotion, Ganesha is regarded as the Supreme Deity, containing all other divine forms within himself. The Ganapati Atharvashirsa declares this in its opening passages as translated by Courtright:
Homage to Lord Gaṇeṃ. Reverence to Gaṇapati. You are indeed the visible "That Thou Art" [tattvamasi]. You indeed produce the universe. You indeed sustain it. You indeed destroy it. You indeed are the all pervading reality. You are the manifestation of the eternal self [an]

Sonali,I love the colours in this painting. They resonate with sounds and palate the flavours of India. I derive great pleasure in immersing myself into your pictures as they fill a lacuna on Indian art and culture which to my shame I am lacking. Thank you for your lovely comment on my work. V/F Best regards Loredana.

Sonali, This work of art is beautiful. I am also learning a lot about "Lord Ganesha", Artharva deva and other spiritual ideas/concepts/beliefs from India. There is so much to learn. Thank you for your descriptions. I may not understand everything completely, but I always admire your wonderful artwork with spiritual energy in it.
